At Pride and Joy Childcare we strive to create an open-plan environment with the purpose of giving children the right to feel cherished, valued, or enjoyed above all others. We aim to provide families with high quality, flexible care and education whilst embracing the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Our passion is to build secure attachments with the children in our care, leading to secure knowledge and understanding of the child. This knowledge supports us to complete high quality observations, planning and assessment of the individual child. At Pride and Joy Childcare the child’s voice is of paramount importance to us. We encourage children to be confident decision makers, providing them with the essential tools to achieve their full potential.
Every child has the right to feel safe and secure whilst at nursery therefore, we provide a highly qualified and fully trained team of staff. All staff have outstanding knowledge, understanding and awareness of the importance of safeguarding children. We regularly review our policies and procedures in line with current legislations.
We believe starting nursery is a significant step in the life of most children and their parents. Therefore, provide a home from home environment where children and parents feel safe and confident in the opportunities made available for babies and young children, preparing the child to socialise with others away from their primary caregivers. Positive partnerships with parents enable us to bridge the gap between home and nursery for young children. As a result, giving children the best possible start in life.
We are committed to our journey, together with children, parents and our team, to provide the highest quality of care possible for our future generation.
